DESCRIPTION
The job of the Senior Data & Analytics Lead will be to spearhead the business/data strategy within our Business Intelligence team. Individuals will be responsible for delivering high-impact business insights and actionable data that informs and guides our strategic decisions. They will lead/manage analysts, data visualization leads, and data partners, partnering closely with channel and strategy teams to drive business growth through data-driven insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
The suggested qualifications for the position of Senior Strategist are:
- Bachelor (4 year) degree is required; in Advertising, Public Relations, or Marketing (preferred)
- 7-10+ years of relevant work experience, advertising/marketing agency experience preferred
- Understanding of business and brand principles
- Proven track record in developing and executing branding strategies, including successful campaigns that align with business objectives and target audience insights.
- Strong research skills: Experience in interpreting qualitative and quantitative research methods, market analysis, and audience segmentation
- Creative and analytical thinking: Ability to translate data and insights into effective brand messaging and creative strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: Capable of conveying complex strategies to internal teams, clients, and senior leadership
- Leadership and collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams including creatives, account services, media planners, and clients to guide brand strategy development
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive data strategy plans that align with clients overall business goals.
- Partner with channel and strategy teams to align data insights with overall business objectives, driving initiatives/insights that directly impact business growth and client success.
- Lead client storytelling and insights identification, effectively communicating the business impact of data insights to executive teams and clients.
- Act as a strategic advisor for the client/business, providing insight and guidance on where Lewis/marketing/advertising can add the most value.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance culture focused on growth, collaboration, and excellence.
- Oversee and guide the ongoing development of the analytics + reporting department, implementing processes, frameworks, and tools to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Design, implement, and oversee the production of reporting frameworks that provide regular insights into campaign and channel performance, tailored to business strategy.
