About the Role

Are you passionate about crafting high-performance websites and pushing the boundaries of web development? As a Senior Web Developer, you'll play a key role in building fully custom WordPress and Shopify sites from the ground upno page builders, no pre-made themes. Were looking for a highly skilled developer who thrives on clean, scalable code, performance optimization, and seamless integrations. If you love solving complex problems and creating exceptional digital experiences, this role is for you.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop Fully Custom WordPress Sites No page builders, no pre-made themes.
• Build from the ground up using PHP, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), Gutenberg, and REST API.
• Build Shopify Stores That Convert Craft custom themes in Liquid, optimize UX, integrate APIs, and customize checkout experiences.
• Master the Bootstrap Framework Develop responsive, mobile-first layouts that deliver flawless performance across all devices.
• Write Clean, Scalable Code Maintain high coding standards with Git, modern JavaScript (ES6+), TailwindCSS (bonus), and Next.js/Vue.js (if applicable).
• Optimize for Speed & SEO Implement Core Web Vitals best practices to build sites that load fast and rank high.
• Collaborate with UX/UI Designers & Strategists Bring designs to life with an obsession for usability, detail, and performance.
• Integrate APIs, CRMs, and Automation Tools Connect platforms seamlessly for smooth workflows and next-level functionality.
• Problem-Solve Like a Pro Debug, optimize, and push the boundaries of whats possible in web development

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in custom WordPress, Shopify, and Bootstrap development.
• Advanced PHP skills, including WordPress hooks, REST API, and custom plugin development.
• Experience Designing for Premium or Luxury Brands 
• A portfolio that showcases storytelling, creativity, and an understanding of high-end aesthetics.
• Storytelling Mastery Ability to translate ideas into powerful visuals and design narratives that connect emotionally with audiences.
• Technical Proficiency Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and AI-driven design tools that unleash your creativity

Additional Information: 

• 🕘 Working Hours: 9am-5pm PT (flexible)
• 💼 Full-Time: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 
• 📄 Type of Contract: Independent Contractor 
  
• 💵 Compensation: $3,000-$4,000 USD per month
