About the Role
Were looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us build and scale our infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance in fast-paced, high-impact environments. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage cloud environmentsplaying a key role in enabling rapid innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the companys DevOps strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure systems.
- Automate deployment and release pipelines to increase system efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Provision and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, including containers and VMs.
- Enforce security best practices including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scans.
- Support CI/CD processes and collaborate with developers to streamline releases.
- Troubleshoot system and application issues across multiple environments.
- Stay current with trends and emerging tools in DevOps and infrastructure engineering.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub, Minio, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL.
- Strong scripting/development skills in Python or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and agile development workflows.
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of orchestration and workflow tools (Apache Airflow, Conductor, Ray).
- Industry certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps, CKA) are a plus.
- Comfortable working with Linux and Windows environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple projects.
- Passion for staying up to date with DevOps trends and technologies.
Additional Information:
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM EST
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Type of Contract: Independent contractor
