About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Talent Acquisition with native-like English proficiency and a proven track record in the BPO industry in LatAm. This role will oversee a team of 40-50 recruiters responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring high-volume Call Center Representatives who speak advanced English and can service US-based clients.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in talent pipeline development, recruitment technology, and multi-touchpoint candidate management systems. You will collaborate with the management team to design and implement scalable recruitment strategies, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified candidates to meet aggressive hiring targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute high-volume recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals for call center representatives across Latin America.
- Design and implement a multi-touchpoint candidate management system to ensure consistent engagement with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with business objectives.
2. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 40-50 recruiters, ensuring they meet individual and team hiring targets.
- Delegate and allocate candidate leads to recruiters on a weekly basis, optimizing workload distribution.
- Provide ongoing training and development to recruiters to enhance their skills and performance.
3. Talent Pipeline Development:
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for high-volume call center roles, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent, including leveraging technology, social media, and local networks.
- Monitor pipeline metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet hiring demands.
4. Recruitment Technology & Systems:
- Utilize and optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to streamline processes.
- Implement data-driven approaches to track recruitment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance recruitment efficiency.
5. Candidate Experience:
- Ensure all candidates receive a positive and engaging experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop and enforce best practices for candidate communication and engagement.
- Monitor candidate feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall experience.
6. Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, and recruiter performance.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on recruitment progress and challenges.
- Use data to drive decision-making and improve recruitment outcomes.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume recruitment in the BPO industry.
- Proven experience managing large teams of recruiters (40+ team members).
- Deep understanding of the Latin American talent market, particularly for English-speaking call center roles.
Skills:
- Native-like English proficiency (C2 level) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in recruitment technology, including ATS and CRM systems.
- Ability to design and implement scalable recruitment systems and processes.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and team members.

Additional Information:
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (US time zone to be determined)
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Type of Contract: Independent contractor
