Job Purpose:

As an Assistant Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to prepare and cook a variety of Mediterranean dishes, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and presented in an appealing manner..

Key duties :

  • Assisting in menu planning and creating new dishes that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including appetizers, soups, salads, main courses, and desserts.
  • Ensuring that all food is prepared and presented according to company standards and recipes.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow proper cooking techniques and adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef or Assistant Chef, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
