SITE MANAGER FOR INTERIOR FIT-OUT PROJECTS

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties will include, but not limited to:

1) The preparation of materials and site establishment procedures for the start of a fit-out project.

2) Instructing and planning daily fit-out tasks with the workforce on site.

3) Following-up on progress and acting on any issues to be resolved with the respective sub-contractors.

4) Informing the QS of any alteration to job expenses and rates if applicable.

5) Providing information to the QS for preparation of variation cost proposals (add & omit) during work-in-progress and for final accounts.

6) Preparation and issuing of program of works (POW), procurement schedules and progress reports during work in progress.

7) Organizing and sequencing the works between the client and other contractors and sub-contractors to avoid clashes and/or delays.

8) Ensuring that completed works are delivered to a good level of quality acceptable by Architect/ID.

9) To follow-up on any additional/modification works during work-in-progress and ensuring that any cost implications to the above are documented and reported to the client QS for approval and for preparation of variation cost proposals.

10) The preparation and attending of meetings with Client/Clients consultants/Main Contractor for the duration of the project.

11) To ensure that RFI (request for Information) are sent and answered by the Architect/ID/Client within appropriate time frame so as not to delay the project.

12) To ensure that proper written communication is established and kept so as not to become responsible for delays not caused or initiated by the client.

13) The attending of all items on the snag-list until all de-snagging have been completed.

14) The planning of materials needed with our storekeeper and from other suppliers together with the safe delivery to site.

15) The preparation of sign-off sheets with Client/Project Manager/Main Contractor for partial or full completion whichever is applicable.

16) The verification of invoices (progress and/or final claims) from subbies and casual workers with regards to percentage of work completed helped with thorough site survey when necessary.

Duties will also include liaising with clients, Interior Designers, Architects and Quantity Surveyors to ensure that all necessary drawings and information in the BOQ are given and validated for the smooth completion of projects.

CANDIDATES PROFILE


1) IT literate. Word and Excel.
2) Minimum 3 years previous experience in similar position.
3) French and English (both written and spoken)
4) Well spoken, calm and confident. Helpful and engaging personality.
