Are you passionate about customer service and have a keen interest in the automotive industry? 

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Counter Parts Specialist to provide exceptional service to our customers while ensuring efficient parts management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to front counter customers.
  • Efficiently search and process parts & accessories using the electronic catalog and information management system.
  • Verify and process customer orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain strict control over credit customer accounts, ensuring purchase orders are obtained before processing and delivery.
  • Ensure all cash invoices are settled before delivering parts to customers.
  • Present all parts to customers before final delivery to ensure satisfaction.
  • Secure a 50% deposit from cash customers for approved quotes requiring special orders.
  • Act as a key liaison between service technicians and customers, providing accurate information on parts and accessories.
  • Support the workshop by efficiently processing parts requests and repair authorizations.
  • Prepare and issue quotes promptly for customers and workshop staff, ensuring minimal delays.
  • Follow up on issued quotes and maintain communication with customers to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell Care & Lifestyle products while offering expert advice on vehicle maintenance and care.
  • Conduct careful verification of returned parts from customers or the workshop, ensuring items are in good condition before accepting them back into inventory.

What Were Looking For:

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role and/or in the automotive industry is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong IT proficiency, including Office 365 and electronic catalog systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills in both English and French.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and previous experience in auto parts sales would be a plus.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to embrace change.
