Logistics Officer

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage shipping line bookings, ensuring timely scheduling and adherence to customer requirements.
• Create and prepare shipping documents as required and in compliance with international trade regulations.
• Book invoices accurately and efficiently into the company's system, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and documented correctly.
• Liaise with various stakeholders to resolve any issues or delays.
• Assist in the preparation of any other relevant documentation for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Belgium team and other departments to optimize logistics processes, streamline operations, and improve efficiency.
• Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed, demonstrating teamwork and cooperation in achieving departmental objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,  or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, with specific experience supporting shipping line bookings and documentation.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, with the ability to input and retrieve data efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation requirements.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
