Our client is looking for an HR Officer to join their team !

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the Human Resources department is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mauritian labour laws is essential, with familiarity in international law considered advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a knack for inspiring and leading teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a talent for resolving conflicts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Effective time management skills and a strong work ethic.

Job Description:

  • Conducting thorough annual employee performance reviews.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of employee information.
  • Preparing and reconciling detailed monthly payroll reports.
  • Overseeing comprehensive recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with company HR policies.
  • Developing innovative HR policies and refining existing ones.
  • Managing employee termination procedures with tact and professionalism.
  • Addressing workplace safety concerns and resolving employee grievances.
  • Monitoring and recording employee attendance and leave.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for labour legislation queries.
  • Supervising daily operations within the Human Resources department.

Company is based at Coromandel.

Working Hours : Monday to Friday 8:00 - 17:00
