About the job Support Officer

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides support to end users, including procedural documentation and relevant
  • reports
  • Respond within agreed-upon time limits to call-outs and evaluate the best way to resolve them.
  • Performs client setup and configuration.
  • Use problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot software to find the root cause of the issue in an autonomous manner. 
  • Either address the issue or hand the problem to someone who is more qualified.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members.
  • Have strong communication networks to best assist customers.


Skills and qualifications

  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Previous experience in a support team will be an advantage.
  • An analytical mind-set with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to legacy and new versions of the technologies used
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in similar fields.
  • Experience of 2 years on ViperTex Time & Attendance Software would be an
  • advantage.
  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or other related

degree in IT) will be an advantage.
