Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and installation of gym equipment. The ideal candidate will support the Senior Technician, complete training certifications, and deliver excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance: Assist Senior Technicians with all preventive maintenance tasks following the company protocols, with the goal of working independently in the future.
• Equipment Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
• Installation and Repairs: Install replacement parts and carry out equipment repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate service reports after completing maintenance or repair jobs.
• Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and the public, reflecting the company brand values.
• Tool Management: Maintain and ensure proper functioning of assigned tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Higher School Certificate (HSC)
• Technical certification in software/network configuration or engineering
• Valid motor vehicle driver's license

Experience:

• Experience in equipment repair and maintenance (e.g., air conditioners, copiers, printers, motor vehicles)

Skills & Competencies:

• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Creole is an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of gym equipment (preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and SAP

Other Requirements:

• Physically fit to handle labor-intensive work
• Willing to travel regionally and work extended hours when necessary
