About the job Hr Manager

Manage the routine functions of the HR department and all aspects of people management to effectively meet the objectives of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Key Deliverables:

1. Understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, succession planning, and employee engagement.

2. Formulate and implement programs in line with the Company's HR strategy and support comprehensive HR initiatives adapted to the Businesss needs.

3. Provide advisory support to Business Units on people issues within their organizations and work with teams to develop, interpret, and act on reporting information and analysis on manpower planning and attrition to support and drive talent retention and to attract new talents.

4. Lead, manage and develop a team of HR and Payroll professionals by providing guidance and direction to the team to ensure the implementation of the HR strategy and plans and acting as a mentor for junior HR colleagues. 

Ensuring the HR team is adequately resourced and trained to meet the needs of the business. Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law to act as a strategic Business Partner. managing the HR functions to guarantee the efficient delivery of the HR operational contribution to the Company. Managing the pay and reward function to ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll and reporting.

5. Be a lead champion of change, participating actively in all transformational programs and ensuring a regular and efficient communication to all team members.

6. Support employee relations issues relating to performance and conduct, including leading investigations into allegations of wrongdoings, disciplinary proceedings, consequence management, reprimands, termination, and court hearings.

7. Ensure a sound employee communication by regularly sharing pertinent information and ideas via all available mediums, i.e. staff meetings, collaboration tools, intranet platform, emails, etc.

8. Maintain compliance with all relevant Laws, regulations, recommended best practices, policies, and procedures, and carry out periodical reviews to ensure that all internal documents are up to date.

9. Collaborate with Managers to create an environment that is conducive to employee engagement and advise managers and employees on a range of HR issues including compensation, HR Policies and Procedures, internal mobility and career aspirations, and performance reviews.

10. Formulate and implement policies, procedures and guidelines pertaining to employee wellbeing and oversee the yearly employee welfare facilities and activities.

11. Analyse trends in compensation and benefits and make proposals to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent and oversee the yearly compensation review process of each Division.

12. Contribute to the preparation and compilation of the yearly HR budgets in line with the Company objectives.

13. Ensure a sound Management of HR processes, including managing the talent acquisition process and strengthening the learning and development culture through programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for the employees.

14. Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and staff members when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise on people Management and/or Organisational Change.

o Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn an HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

o Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field. A post graduate

degree or any other higher relevant qualification will constitute a definite advantage.

o A minimum of 7 years of human resource management experience, out of which at least 3 years leading a team of HR generalists. Experience in a multi- sector environment will be an advantage.
