About the job Hr Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates.
- Oversee employee performance management and professional development programs.
- Ensure accurate and timely management of payroll in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Design and implement effective compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of positive and transparent communication within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations, employment laws, and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage administrative tasks related to HR and general office operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or higher
- Experience in managing both HR and administrative functions is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements in Mauritius.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement innovative HR strategies and communication plans.
- Proficiency in human resource information systems (HRIS) and related software.
- Strong Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership with a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and effectively influence change.
