About the job Hr Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates.
  • Oversee employee performance management and professional development programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of payroll in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Design and implement effective compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of positive and transparent communication within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations, employment laws, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to HR and general office operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or higher
  • Experience in managing both HR and administrative functions is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements in Mauritius.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative HR strategies and communication plans.
  • Proficiency in human resource information systems (HRIS) and related software.
  • Strong Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership with a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and effectively influence change.
