We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Quantity Surveyor and Project Control with three years of post-university experience to join our dynamic team. This role combines the responsibilities of quantity surveying with project management, requiring a balance of technical expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying:

  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
  2. Conduct cost analysis, manage contracts, and control project costs.
  3. Evaluate and process payment applications and change orders.
  4. Perform risk assessments and provide financial forecasts.
  5. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Project Control:

  1. Assist in the planning, coordinating, and executing projects from inception to completion.
  2. Monitor project progress and manage resources effectively.
  3. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  4. Identify and resolve issues or delays that may affect project timelines.
  5. Prepare and present project reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., RICS) are a plus.
