JOB PURPOSE:

To provide daily support to the Finance department by performing a variety of tasks related to financial record, keeping, reporting, and analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

KRA Accounts Payable

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare and perform timely payments to suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly payments for clients.
  • Reconcile the statement of account.
  • Attend to clients queries and do the liaison between the team and clients to resolve any issue.

KRA - Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Maintain the general ledger, accounting records and corresponding reconciliation schedules of the
  • Company in an accurate manner.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts reconciliations and management reports.
  • Analyse expenses and revenues to ensure that reports are recorded properly monthly.
  • Assist in preparing financial analysis reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Assist in the production of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash
  • flow statements.
  • Process bank/cash transactions and reconcile same.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of Budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.

KRA Yearly/Monthly Returns:

  • Responsible for VAT and TDS returns.

Education and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
  • Or an ACCA Level 1.
  • A minimum of 2 5 years of working experience in Accounting.
  • Excellent command in Excel.
