Job Purpose:
The job incumbent will have the responsibility to deliver the best possible compassionate basic nursing care to all respective patients.

Key duties:

• Keeping the Charge Nurse informed of all relevant issues concerning patients under his or her care (the Charge Nurse must be able to keep Doctors informed at all times).
• Answering patients bell very promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation and coordinate billing process.
• Patient rounds as and when requested by superior.
• To ensure that the privacy of patients is respected at all times (by keeping noise level in corridors as low as possible, by always closing patients room.
• Ensuring smooth admission and discharge process of patients.
• To carry out all relevant tasks, namely the making of beds, bathing patients, removing bedpans, etc.
• To monitor patients meals, under the Charge Nurses supervision

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Healthcare Level 2 Holder.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
