About the job Accounts Manager
Overall Purpose:
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for ensuring strong accounting practices and financial reporting within the organization. This includes overseeing and monitoring an effective control environment and providing sound financial advice to the management team. The role involves assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, forecasts, cost analysis reports, and making strategic financial recommendations. Additionally, the Accounts Manager will provide financial analysis and support on business transactions and departmental performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and interpretation of operational financial data.
- Ensure that financial statements are complete, accurate, and compliant with generally accepted accounting principles and industry standards.
- Coordinate and deliver on internal and external reporting requirements while ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.

Monitor budgets and financial reporting for accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in coordinating annual audit engagements with both internal and external auditors, ensuring timely fulfillment of audit requirements.
- Monitor and enhance compliance controls, financial structures, and automated processes to ensure effective financial management.
- Lead, plan, and coordinate the work of the accounting team while fostering a high-performance environment.
- Support the professional growth of team members by developing their skills and knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

ACCA or ACA qualified.
- 8-10 years of experience in a finance-related role with a strong financial and technical accounting background.

Prior experience in auditing would be an advantage.
