Senior Manager/ General Manager

Our client, a well-established engineering company with a strong footprint in mechanical and electrical solutions, is looking for a dynamic Senior Manager of Projects & Services to lead its Aqua Solutions division, the specialist arm driving sustainable water technologies across Mauritius and the region.

Your Mission

As the Senior Manager, you will:

• Oversee all business operations within the Water Solutions division, including sales, aftersales, maintenance, projects, and marketing.

• Develop and execute business strategies to strengthen market position, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of 60100 employees, ensuring performance, collaboration, and professional growth.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing structures, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational goals.

• Drive project success from design through commissioning, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and technical excellence.

• Act as the strategic water expert, positioning the division as a trusted partner in hydraulic systems, sewerage treatment, and pool management.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering (Hydro) or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of proven experience in a senior management role within water, M&E, or project-driven industries.

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of managing large technical teams.

• Sound financial and commercial acumen, including P&L management and contract negotiation.

• Expertise in water treatment systems, hydraulic installations, and sewerage plant operations.

• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (MS Project, ERP, CRM, etc.).

• A strategic mindset, analytical strength, and the ability to translate vision into execution.
