Main Purpose of the Job

The person ensures the company follows laws, regulations, and standards. They:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.

  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments.

  • Make sure corrective actions are taken when issues are found.

Key Responsibilities

1. Management Review

  • Prepare reports on department performance for management.

2. Data Protection

  • Ensure employees understand data privacy responsibilities.

  • Conduct audits to check compliance.

  • Handle registration/renewals with the Data Protection Office.

  • Assess privacy risks for new projects.

  • Keep records of all data processing activities.

3. Compliance

  • Stay updated on compliance laws.

  • Update company policies and procedures.

  • Promote ethical behavior and the code of conduct.

  • Conduct risk assessments and propose solutions.

4. Risk & Auditing

  • Perform internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Prepare audit reports.

  • Help deliver internal audit training.

5. Training & Awareness

  • Assist in compliance/quality training for employees.

  • Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior.

6. Reporting

  • Analyze data to detect compliance issues.

7. Office/Admin Duties

  • Handle calls, emails, and correspondence.

  • Maintain documents and records (both electronic and paper).

  • Book meetings and ensure office supplies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Management review report completed.

  • Data Protection Office registration always up to date.

  • Training delivered to all employees.

  • Accurate audit data and reports.

  • Quick access to information/documents.

  • Low incidents/accidents/near misses (Health & Safety).

Skills & Competencies Needed

  • Knowledge of quality assurance methods and standards.

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).

  • Good communication (English & French).

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Good presentation and training skills.

  • Analytical and detail-oriented.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (incl. Visio).

  • Valid car driving license (advantage).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree (Management, Business Admin, Law, or related).

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (advantage, not mandatory).

  • Must follow company's Health & Safety, HR, and compliance policies.
