The international group of investors creating a new retailer brand on Mauritian market is seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and highly capable Executive Assistant to the Executive Chairman/CoFounder. This is a strategic and developmental role designed for a young professional with exceptional organisational and leadership potential, offering a unique opportunity to build a long-term career in senior management within the company.

The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between the Executive Chairman (a foreign national) and the wider management team, ensuring seamless coordination, strategic alignment, and efficient execution of high-level initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive support to the Chairman in all areas of business management and strategic execution.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring effective collaboration across multicultural teams.
  • Prepare business presentations, reports, and analyses using advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Support operational projects, including fieldwork, travel coordination, and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Support the Chairman and the company management in professional meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements when required.
  • Manage scheduling, task follow-ups, and sensitive correspondence with discretion and professionalism.
  • Contribute to the companys growth by supporting transformation and expansion projects across the retail network.

Qualifications and Skills:

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated intellectual capacity, ambition, and resilience, with the potential to progress to senior management (CEO-2 level) within three years of dedicated performance.
  • Trilingual fluency (English, French, and Creole) both first written and spoken.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, integrity, and sense of humour capable of representing both the Chairman and the team with professionalism and empathy.
  • Fully committed to personal and professional development, eager to acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally, with a valid driving license.
  • Ownership of a personal vehicle (fuel allowance provided; company car may be considered after probation).
