Senior Legal Counsel - Intellectual Property (IP)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Intellectual Property (IP) to join a leading apparel manufacturer based in Battaramulla. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all IP aspects for the organization, both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing all aspects of Intellectual Property for the organization.
• Advise on the establishment and protection of IP, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and licensing technology.
• Coordinate IP strategies for corporate transactions.
• Support patent application processes and contribute to the development of patenting strategies.
• Educate internal teams on IP fundamentals and run IP awareness programs.
• Implement the organization’s IP Policy and ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be an Attorney-at-Law.
• Postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property.
• 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar legal role, with a focus on Intellectual Property.
