Head of Equity Research

We are in search of a Head of Equity Research to join our client's team.

The Head of Equity Research is expected to lead the equity research team. The candidate will be expected to undertake detailed and focused research on the assigned sectors with the goal of contributing to investment ideas and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage/delegate custom research requests and consultancy relationships that require specialized project management.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the research department, ensuring accuracy of work.
• Manage and develop the research team.
• Provide clear and consistent communication of project initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the assigned asset class.
• Lead and execute research-related projects.
• Participate and contribute in client meetings and conference calls as needed.
• Engage with clients to identify opportunities available through the strategic use of our data research.

Qualifications

• Candidates should at least be pursuing the CFA designation.
• Must have 6-8 years of experience on the buy-side and/or sell-side.
• Strong research background across all disciplines: Fundamental and Quantitative.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (both written and spoken English).
• Sound quantitative and analytical ability.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must.
