ERP Business Consultant (Finance Module) | Onsite - Nugegoda
Our client is seeking an ERP Business Consultant specializing in the Finance module to join our client's dynamic team at our client's office in Nugegoda.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance coupled with hands-on experience or a keen understanding of ERP systems.
This role will involve collaborating with clients to optimize their financial processes within the ERP framework, ensuring seamless integration and efficient utilization of ERP functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their financial requirements and objectives. Analyze existing financial processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the ERP system.
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of the ERP system, specifically focusing on the Finance module.
- Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing the ERP system effectively for financial operations.
- Document configuration settings, processes, and procedures related to the Finance module.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and operations to ensure seamless integration of the ERP system with existing business processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience working with ERP systems as an end-user in the Finance department or as a functional consultant specializing in Finance modules.
- Alternatively, fresh graduates with a CIMA or similar qualification in finance-related disciplines will be considered as well.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and principles, with the ability to translate business requirements into ERP solutions.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and familiarity with Finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work onsite from Monday to Friday at our client's office in Nugegoda.
