Product Manager - Prepaid Business
Our client, one of Sri Lanka's largest telecommunications service providers and the leading mobile network operator in the country, is seeking to hire a Product Manager - Prepaid Business.
The Job:
- Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, strategic importance, opportunities, and challenges. Develop strategies to convert non-users, introduce new product ranges, and expand market share.
- Product Development: Create new products for emerging segments and enhance product availability. Continuously evaluate and improve product performance and alignment with market needs.
- Marketing and Sales: Implement marketing campaigns, drive customer penetration, and improve loyalty. Use big data to tailor offerings and develop targeted sales and marketing strategies.
- Customer Management: Develop and manage loyalty programs, analyze customer behavior, and address churn. Implement strategies for customer retention and engagement.
- Project Management: Act as a product owner, coordinate projects, and ensure timely delivery. Prepare Business Requirement Documents, participate in agile practices like backlog grooming, and manage stakeholder communication.
- Partnerships and Expansion: Build and maintain partnerships, negotiate deals, and identify new sales channels. Develop micro-marketing strategies and regional plans for market expansion.
- Data and Analytics: Utilize data analysis for consumer insights and product performance. Implement frameworks like HEART and AARRR for performance measurement and continuous improvement.
- Innovation and Agile Practices: Lead digitization and innovation projects, operate with an agile mindset, and apply lean start-up methodologies.
- Collaboration and Training: Work with cross-functional teams, advise on product information, and train customers for feedback and workarounds.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track project tasks, provide progress updates, and manage stakeholder expectations. Facilitate risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
The Person:
- Bachelor's degree in physical science, management, economics, business administration, or equivalent.
- MBA is an added advantage.
