QA Engineer 

Our client, a global leader in enterprise asset intelligence with a wholly owned subsidiary in Sri Lanka, is seeking a QA Tester.

Contracting period: 01 year period

Scope of work

a) Test Case Migration: The QA Tester will be responsible for migrating existing test cases from our current legacy system to a new Test Management System (TMS).
b) Manual Testing: The QA Tester will be required to run manual tests using the migrated test cases. This will involve executing the test cases, identifying any defects, and documenting the results in JIRA.
c) Writing New Test Cases: The QA Tester will also be responsible for writing new test cases in the TMS, based on the product requirements and technical specifications.
d) Reporting: The QA Tester will need to provide regular reports detailing the progress of the testing activities, any issues encountered, and the results of the tests.
e) Agile Environment: The QA Tester will be expected to work in an Agile environment, contributing to the iterative development of the product.

Deliverables:

The QA Tester will deliver the following:
a) A complete set of migrated test cases in the new TMS.
b) Detailed reports of manual testing results.
c) Regular progress reports and updates to the manager.
