Our client is looking for a dynamic Business Manager - Merchandising to manage and develop customer accounts, identify new market opportunities, and drive operational excellence on the floor. This critical role aims to maximize capacity utilization while achieving profitability and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective relationships with customers, key decision-makers, and relevant business units, providing timely customer-specific solutions.
  • Oversee the development process from initial proto kit receipt to commercialization, ensuring all documentation meets customer expectations.
  • Drive the team to achieve revenue targets by completing customer orders and minimizing costs to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Update and maintain Volume Value sheets with accurate data, prepare annual budgets for respective categories, and monitor sales to ensure target achievement.
  • Act as a change agent to improve systems and processes within the Merchandising department, monitoring implementations to achieve Lean KPIs.
  • Build a balanced team by participating in recruitment, training, development, and performance management to meet current and future business needs.

Experience and Skills:

  • MBA or a degree in Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies and strong project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for leading teams and projects.
  • Experience in team mentoring and coaching to foster growth and development.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Strong decision-making abilities with a focus on strategic objectives.
  • Excellent networking capabilities for building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Market knowledge with an awareness of global trends and the ability to adapt to changes.
