Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior video editors to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos.
  • Execute essential video editing tasks, including trimming, cutting, and assembling footage.
  • Conceptualize and produce captivating animated content and storyboards.
  • Enhance video content with transitions, effects, graphics, and audio.
  • Organize and manage video files and assets for efficient retrieval and future use.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Bring creative ideas to the table to elevate video content and storytelling.
  • Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual style.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by learning the latest video editing techniques and software tools.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to video editing software and equipment.
  • Support the production and post-production process, including capturing and logging footage, creating rough cuts, and finalizing projects for delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing and 2D animation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant software.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for storytelling through video.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proven experience with video editing software and motion graphics.
  • Solid understanding of video formats, file compression techniques, and basic cinematography principles.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical challenges during editing.
  • A degree or diploma in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is highly desirable.
