Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled VMC Setter to join our production team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for setting up and operating 3-axis VMC machines, interpreting GD&T engineering drawings, and delivering precision components for our medical robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, program offsets, and operate 3-axis VMC machines independently.
• Tooling & Setup: Manage tool changes, select cutting parameters, and execute settings based on material requirements.
• Drawing Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret technical drawings using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Quality & Safety: Maintain high-precision machining standards, perform basic maintenance, keep workspace clean, and adhere to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a precision machining environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on proficiency with 3-axis VMC and milling machines.
  • Ability to read GD&T engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controller systems.
