Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate, proactive Architect or Interior Design intern to join our Madrid studio. A talented designer who can create compelling concepts that meet and exceed the expectations of Momedis design leaders and our clients.

In this Role you will:

1. Work closely with other members of the team and be guided by senior leaders to create excellent design within time constraints given.
2. Start building your capacity as a design and methodology contributor.
3. Support all phases of project work and client interactions.
4. Be a natural communicator and bring a positive energy to any conversation with purpose and vision.
5. Develop your expertise in the design of physical spaces and experiences, as well as the development and manufacturing processes by which they are created.
6. Begin to understand other design disciplines and processes (across Strategy, Brand, Digital and Service design) as well as new technologies
7. and industry developments (AR, VR, AI, wearables, etc)

Responsabilities:

1. Support and contribute to the Design practice Working with the team to consolidate and evolve Mormedi methodology expertise related to Design and Retail.
2. Building expertise in your field of design and awareness of other disciplines.
3. Supporting design leaders in project management and content issues related to the Design practice.
4. Creation of world-class design work and storytelling, with on-time delivery.
5. Supporting the Design team by bringing a positive solution-focused mindset and attitude.

Skills:

Concept development Ability to create and articulate compelling and innovative design concepts. Strong storytelling skills to communicate ideas effectively through visual and verbal presentations.

Design representation Expertise in creating high-quality visualizations, including renders, drawings, and other graphical elements that communicate design intent clearly and persuasively.

Software proficiency Advanced knowledge and efficiency in key design-related software:

1. Modeling software: Rhino, AutoCAD (required), Blender (preferred)
2. Rendering software: Vray (required), Blender (preferred)
3. Other tools: Keyshot, Unreal Engine, or similar
4. Graphic tools Strong skills in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to enhance design representation.

Project methodologies Solid understanding of interior design and architectural processes, including interdisciplinary collaboration. Interest in integrating cutting-edge digital experience technologies is a plus.

Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high professional proficiency in English (B2-C2) and Spanish.

Proactivity and teamwork Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative and creative working environment while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional work.

Time management Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications:

Studying a bachelors degree in architecture, Interior Design or similar, the ability to permission to live and work in Spain.
