Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing BI team. You will be

responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that enable

data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring data quality,

accessibility, and reliability for analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric.

  • Support data integration from Oracle, Salesforce, TELUS TPM, NIQ, and MSAi data sources.
  • Validate, cleanse, and reconcile data across multiple systems.

  • Identify and investigate data quality issues.

  • Support enterprise data governance and documentation efforts.

  • Prepare and optimize datasets for Power BI reporting and analytics.

  • Assist with semantic models, data models, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Partner with BI Analysts to meet business reporting requirements.

  • Recommend opportunities to enhance data reliability and performance.
  • Document data pipelines, integrations, and technical processes.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to support analytics initiatives.
  • Participate in testing and deployment of new data solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or similar role.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline frameworks.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Fabric Suite, Azure, Salesforce CRM, Oracle ERP)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and normalization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Salesforce or related technologies.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Business Analytics.

  • Background in CPG industry data workflows.
