Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical Google Media Buyer to support the execution, optimization, and growth of Google Ads campaigns across multiple ecommerce brands.

This role is responsible for managing Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube campaigns while helping drive profitable customer acquisition through structured testing, optimization, and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has experience managing ecommerce Google Ads accounts, understands how Shopping campaigns and Merchant Center contribute to ecommerce performance, and is comfortable working within a fast-moving performance marketing environment.

Success in this role requires someone who takes ownership of campaign performance, proactively identifies optimization opportunities, and continuously improves efficiency through testing and analysis. Depending on experience, the role may involve supporting senior strategists or independently managing larger accounts.

This is not an entry-level PPC role. We're looking for someone with hands-on Google Ads experience who understands ecommerce performance marketing and is comfortable managing campaigns with minimal day-to-day oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Management

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube campaigns

  • Monitor campaign pacing, budgets, bidding strategies, and overall account health

  • Optimize keywords, audiences, product groups, creatives, and campaign structures

  • Scale profitable campaigns while maintaining efficiency targets

  • Develop and execute structured testing plans across campaign variables

Ecommerce Performance Marketing

  • Manage Google Shopping campaigns and Google Merchant Center

  • Support product feed management and campaign organization

  • Coordinate campaign execution around product launches, promotions, and merchandising initiatives

  • Identify opportunities to improve ecommerce campaign performance through feed, audience, and landing page optimization

Performance Analysis

  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization

  • Analyze key performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rate, impression share, and revenue contribution

  • Translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations

  • Prepare recurring performance reports and optimization summaries

Tracking & Measurement

  • Monitor campaign tracking and conversion accuracy

  • Support troubleshooting of tracking issues with technical teams when necessary

  • Maintain campaign documentation, reporting dashboards, and account organization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with creative teams on ad assets and landing page requirements

  • Coordinate with ecommerce teams on merchandising, inventory, and promotional initiatives

  • Work alongside other paid media specialists to support overall growth objectives

  • Share campaign insights and testing learnings with internal stakeholders


Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns for ecommerce brands or performance marketing agencies

  • Experience managing Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube campaigns

  • Experience working with Google Merchant Center and Google Shopping campaigns

  • Experience managing ecommerce Google Ads campaigns

  • Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to evaluate campaign performance

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rate, and customer acquisition

  • Experience optimizing campaigns through structured testing and performance analysis

  • Experience working with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms

  • Experience managing multiple ecommerce brands or agency client accounts

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership


Preferred

  • Experience working with Meta Ads or broader paid media channels

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking implementation

  • Experience using attribution platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or Looker Studio

  • Experience using feed optimization platforms such as Feedonomics, DataFeedWatch, or similar tools

  • Google Ads or Google Analytics certifications

  • Experience managing large monthly advertising budgets ($100k+/month)
