Job Description

We are seeking an Ecommerce Operations & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of the operational backbone of a fast-growing global DTC ecommerce business.

This role is responsible for managing inventory planning, supplier relationships, fulfillment operations, logistics, product launch readiness, and operational systems across multiple international markets. The position will serve as the primary operational owner for the business, ensuring products move efficiently from supplier to warehouse to customer while supporting continued growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate is highly proactive, operationally minded, and capable of building systems where none currently exist. This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for someone who can identify inefficiencies, implement scalable processes, improve visibility across operations, and proactively solve problems before they impact customers or the business.

This role will work closely with leadership while owning day-to-day supply chain and operational execution across suppliers, 3PL partners, Shopify operations, and future expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Planning & Forecasting

  • Own demand forecasting and inventory planning across all SKUs and product variants

  • Monitor inventory health, weeks of coverage, replenishment timelines, and stock risks across multiple markets

  • Determine reorder timing and inventory requirements using historical sales data, marketing plans, seasonality, and growth projections

  • Maintain accurate visibility into inventory levels across all warehouses and fulfillment partners

  • Proactively identify stockout risks, excess inventory, and supply bottlenecks before they impact operations

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturers, suppliers, and operational vendors

  • Manage production timelines and coordinate replenishment schedules

  • Track purchase orders, lead times, MOQs, and supplier commitments

  • Source and evaluate new suppliers as the product catalog expands

  • Negotiate pricing, timelines, operational terms, and vendor agreements where appropriate

  • Maintain organized supplier documentation and operational records

  • Anticipate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans

3PL & Logistics Management

  • Own day-to-day relationships with fulfillment and logistics partners across all active markets

  • Monitor fulfillment performance, shipping accuracy, SLA adherence, and inventory movement

  • Conduct routine order-health reviews to identify fulfillment issues, shipping delays, or inventory discrepancies

  • Coordinate inbound shipments, inventory transfers, and warehouse receiving activities

  • Investigate operational issues and drive resolution with external partners

3PL Transition & Operational Improvement

  • Lead the evaluation and selection of future fulfillment and logistics partners

  • Analyze warehouse rate cards, fulfillment costs, storage fees, and operational performance

  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency

  • Manage warehouse migration and inventory transfer projects while maintaining business continuity

  • Develop scalable operational processes and documentation to support future growth

Shopify Operations & Systems

  • Maintain operational accuracy across Shopify and connected operational systems

  • Configure and maintain Shopify operational workflows, automations, and inventory processes

  • Support product setup, inventory configuration, bundling, kitting, and fulfillment workflows

  • Improve operational visibility through reporting, automation, and system improvements

  • Leverage AI tools and operational technology to improve forecasting, inventory visibility, and workflow efficiency

Product Launch & Expansion Operations

  • Own operational readiness for new product launches

  • Coordinate launch timelines across suppliers, logistics providers, marketing, and customer experience teams

  • Ensure inventory availability and operational readiness before launches go live

  • Support operational planning for new products, bundles, collaborations, and future sales channels

  • Evaluate operational requirements for entering new markets and fulfillment regions

  • Support warehouse expansion and international market opportunities through operational analysis and planning

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–6+ years of experience in ecommerce operations, supply chain management, inventory planning, or related operational roles

  • Experience leading warehouse transitions, 3PL migrations, or fulfillment optimization projects

  • Experience with ShipBob, Hive, or similar fulfillment platforms

  • Experience with Shopify Flow, automation tools, or operational systems design
