Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Event Setup Assistant to help prepare venues, arrange equipment, organize promotional materials, and support event logistics. The ideal candidate is practical, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment where priorities may change as event preparations progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event spaces according to assigned layouts and setup instructions.
• Arrange tables, chairs, displays, signage, and promotional materials as required.
• Receive, organize, and transport event supplies to designated areas.
• Check that necessary materials and equipment are available before activities begin.
• Assist with maintaining clean, orderly, and presentable event spaces.
• Communicate setup progress and supply needs to event coordinators.
• Help troubleshoot routine setup issues and report equipment concerns.
• Assist with dismantling displays, packing materials, and returning supplies after events.
• Follow handling instructions and applicable workplace safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with event staff to complete setup tasks on schedule.
