Shipping Manager
About the job Shipping Manager
Shipping Manager who will oversee the shipping / receiving department along with being doing the hands on work. The duties include: Driving a forklift / building crates for shipping machines and components.
- Will operate production packaging equipment to full fill orders
- Will pick and pack customer requirements and prepare for shipping
- Will receive inbound shipments
- Will perform inventory cycle counts and include any returned products
- Create shipping labels / UPC barcodes and product identification information
- Will be transporting finished products to shipping areas, build pallets and be able to prioritize orders bases on customer requirements and delivery schedules
This will be a day shift position with hours from 8am to 4:30pm. Will start off on a Temp-to-Perm basis. Pay level will be around $24-$25/hr..
