CNC Machinist Lathes 1st or 2nd shift

1st Shift Timings - 6:00am - 2:30PM

2nd Shift Timings - 1:30PM - 10:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and load cutting tools, fixtures, and materials into the machines
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within tight tolerances and specifications
• Make adjustments and perform maintenance on machines as needed
• Perform quality control checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines
• Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls preferred
• Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work on the 2nd shift
• physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
