Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary:

Examine and inspect materials, finished parts, and fabricated products for defects and wear to ensure conformance with work orders, diagrams, blueprints and customer specifications completeness.

Essential Functions:

• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions.

• Examine and inspect materials, finished parts, and fabricated products for defects and wear to ensure conformance to customer specifications

• Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.

• Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.

• Mark items with details such as acceptance or rejection status.

• Record inspection data and calibration data.
