CNC Machinist - 2nd shift

2nd shift is 3:15 p.m. - 3:15 a.m. (Monday - Thursday)
Friday is offered to work most weeks; therefore, our 2nd shift typically works 57.5 hours per week.

CNC Lathe/Mills Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe/ Mills machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You will work with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, to create components for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe/Mills machines according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto the machine
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC lathe/ Mills machines
• Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
