2nd Shift Lathe Machinist

We seek (3) experienced CNC Lathe Machinists with 7+ years of set up, programming, and machining tight tolerance components

As a Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathes to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, threading, and facing
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications and tolerances
•  Use precision measuring instruments to ensure the accuracy of parts
•  Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects
•  Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
•  Maintain a clean and safe work environment
•  Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met

Qualifications:

•  High school diploma or equivalent
•  Minimum of 2 years of experience operating lathes in a manufacturing setting
•  Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques
•  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
•  Proficient in using precision measuring instruments
•  Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
•  Ability to work independently and in a team environment
•  Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
•  Strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality work
