Position: Quality Assurance Inspector

Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on gears at various stages of production to identify any defects or issues. You will also work closely with the production team to identify and address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on gears at various stages of production, including incoming materials, in-process, and finished products
- Use precision measuring equipment and tools to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
- Document and report any non-conformances or quality issues to the production team and work together to implement corrective actions
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and address quality concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections and tests performed
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to review and update quality procedures and processes as needed
- Communicate any quality concerns or issues to the appropriate departments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Conduct final inspections on finished products and release them for shipment
- Monitor and maintain the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in quality assurance or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Experience with precision measuring equipment and tools
- Knowledge of ISO and other quality management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer software programs
