CNC Manual Lathe Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using a manual lathe, mill, and drill, as well as CNC and Mazatrol experience (preferred). Experience with Proto Trak glass scale readout and controller for Bridgeport Mills is also a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathe, mill, and drill to produce high-quality parts according to blueprints and specifications
• Set up and adjust machines as needed for each job
• Use measuring tools and gauges to ensure parts meet required tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T, to determine machining operations and dimensions
• Collaborate with the plant manager to prioritize jobs and meet production deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Safely operate all equipment and follow all safety protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience operating manual lathe, mill, and drill
• CNC and Mazatrol experience (preferred)
• Experience with Proto Trak glass scale readout and controller for Bridgeport Mills (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T, and work with close tolerances
• Must have own tools
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• Reliable and able to meet production deadlines
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes
