Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections on all incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet our specifications and industry standards
• Use a variety of measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to perform accurate and precise measurements
• Record and analyze data from inspections to identify any trends or areas for improvement
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation
• Train and mentor other team members on quality control processes and procedures
• Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding quality concerns and provide timely and effective resolutions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in quality assurance is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of measurement tools and techniques
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with machining technology and materials is a plus
