CNC Programmer

Experience: 5-10 years

Education Level: High School with Technical School*

*Programming education/certification required

Mon-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Essential Job Functions:

• Program & set up CNCs and machining centers
• Fixture and program all jobs given
• Set up and programming 65%
• Planning 10%
• Order Tooling 5%
• Machine Operation 10%
• Inspection 10%

Required Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of machining and strong machining skills
• 5-10 years of experience turning, milling setup
• Intricate understanding of programming via Mastercam and integration
• Familiarity with new technologies
• Medium to high level of experience with tools and inserts
• Continually looking for new grades and options
• Experience in inspection of machined parts
• Trigonometry and blueprint literacy
• Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma lathe and mill controls experience a plus

Required Materials:

• Steel-toe safety footwear mandatory
• Safety glasses w/ side shield*
