As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting. You will work with a variety of materials, including metal, plastic, and wood, to create high-quality products according to customer specifications.

The hours of this position is, 3:15pm-3:30am 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting
  •  Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine product specifications
  •  Select and load materials into the machine, and adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation
  •  Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
  •  Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet customer specifications
  •  Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures and regulations
  •  Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance as needed
  •  Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase productivity
  •  Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

  •  Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing setting
  •  Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
  •  Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
  •  Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform basic math calculations
  •  Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work full-time and have a flexible schedule as needed
