Blown Film Extrusion Operator

12-hour shift Rotating Schedule - 48/36

Days 9 am-9 pm & Nights 9 pm-9 am

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Performs all work safely by personal and product safety rules.
•  Inspects product for visual defects and completes inspection reports periodically.
•  Packs all good products in a designated manner.
•  Makes boxes to be filled with production.
•  Counts, weighs and records the number of units of materials moved or handled.
•  Completes daily production reports.
•  Performs rework, sorting, and documentation of hardware.
•  Maintains cleanliness of work areas by 5S and SQF guidelines.
•  Operating automated equipment
•  Must progress through the Scholle IPN Pay for Skills Program (skill development).
•  Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime
• Future training and education may be necessary to further job skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measures using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  
• Ability to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Basic skill knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Virtual Client to perform effectively in daily activities
• Ability to perform visual inspection process and successfully read and apply technical specifications, including print.
