We are looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our team and manage the first stage of our recruiting process. We want someone who is a whiz at identifying and enticing candidates for a variety of positions we are currently working on. We're hiring for Software Engineers, Accounting, Sales Engineers, Developers, Publicist, Marketing, VPs, Directors, and more. And we need a strong, no nonsense sourcer who can find ideal candidates who can be moved on to the phone screen round.
Talent Sourcer responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on social media and enjoy learning about different roles, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will proactively help us fill our vacancies with qualified candidates.
While this is currently a part time role (up to 20 hours per week), there is a potential to go full time, and eventually become a full life cycle Recruiter by the end of the year.
Responsibilities
- Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
- Craft and send introductory recruiting emails
- Coordinate with Recruiters to determine position requirements
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
- Conduct preliminary phone screens
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Ask for referrals from external networks
- Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
- Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
Skills
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Sourcer in either agency, corporate or consulting environments;
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques;
- Familiarity Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs);
- Solid verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to positively present our open roles to potential candidates;
- Effective time-management abilities;
