- The Company: Mogul Chix is a fast-growing business growth advisory and consulting company helping women of color business scale and grow their business and move from being a business owner to a full-fledged CEO.
- The Role: Content Specialist - This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of our day-to-day content management for our website, social media and email.
- Location: Our entire team is remote so you can work from anywhere (preferably within the United States.
- Hours: 15 hours per week to start, with the potential to eventually go full time.
- Pay: $25 per hour to start.

Qualifications Needed
- At least 3 years of experience in writing high- quality and engaging content that speaks to women of color entrepreneurs who are beyond startup phase.
- Can write in a conversational style that gets the audience engaged and ready to take action.
- Can take on the “voice” of the brand when writing content.
- Have a thorough knowledge of SEO strategy, keyword research and KPIs.
- Have experience in developing a content strategy to push content out across multiple platforms efficiently and effectively.
- You are whiz at analytics and can diagnose our blind spots and trouble areas.
- You have experience with WordPress, Canva and Elementor.

Your Role Functions
- Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content that resonates with women of color.
- Work closely with our Social Media Specialist to ensure content is posted according to schedule and on topic for the day/week/month/special occasion.
- Develop content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website (as needed).
- Assist in developing content for advertising campaigns.
- Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies so we can put our best foot forward.
- Edit and polish existing content to improve readability (show us where we can improve).
- Conduct keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website and social media platforms.
- Prepare Content for use on multiple platforms ensuring it appropriately resonates with the audience of each platform (we don’t do cut and paste jobs) and is given to the Social Media Specialist in a timely manner.
- Identify customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content by paying attention to the conversations that are being held in our social media spaces.
- Monitor analytics daily and ensure KPIs are being met.
- Provide support and feedback on the overall SEO strategy.
- Provide support and feedback on the Email strategy.
- Contribute to the regular content planning sessions.
