Job Openings CEO MSCD (The Collider Programme)

About the job CEO MSCD (The Collider Programme)

Are you seeking a new entrepreneurial adventure that offers the opportunity to build a deep-tech startup in the industry sector?

MCSD, a beneficiary of the The Collider Venture Building Programme, is looking for an entrepreneurial profile with business acumen, experience as a founder, to join the team. As an entrepreneur, you will be part of our 3-month programme designed to validate the business potential of the technology being developed by the scientific team. At the end of this process, if the business and the team are validated, the spin-off will be incorporated, and you will become the CEO and co-founder of a new disruptive and IP-protected deep-tech spin-off.

About the Project

MCSD, a research project from a collaboration between Universidad del Pais Vasco and Universidad de Cantabria, has developed a method and a device for the quantification of the sorption of any chemical substances from a liquid medium by adsorbent materials. The method is based on the reading of an easily measurable parameter using the developed device which linearly correlates the measured parameter with the adsorbed mass percentage.

Among its main achievements so far, MCSD has created three different portable and non-portable devices for any type of porous material, allowing the direct measurement of the amount of adsorbent adsorbed within the material in any liquid medium, regardless of its nature, which not only allows the measurement of partially insoluble compounds, but also eliminates the need to calibrate each compound when calibrating the porous material, unlike current methods. The technology is protected with 2 patents and is at TRL 6-7.

About the Role and Current Challenges
