Some of the skills you possess as a Design Manager will include leading the coordination of the design to produce accurate information in line with the agreed specification. You will ensure compliance with technical requirements and maximising value engineering opportunities from tender through to construction phases are adhered to. You will be comfortable managing the detail within pre-contracts and contract programmes as Design Manager undertaking responsibility of dealing and liaising with your clients.

Contractually experienced with NEC, MMC, Design & Build & Traditional

You will possess a HNC or above qualification in design, engineering or construction.

Minimum of 3 years post qualified experience with a main contractor as a Design Manager , you will be able to provide examples of the types of projects you have been involved with as part of a team and on an individual basis.
