Responsibilities:

1. Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, immunology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring accuracy and precision.
2. Collect, process, and analyze patient samples using various laboratory techniques and equipment, ensuring adherence to quality control and quality assurance protocols.
3. Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure accurate and reliable results.
4. Interpret test results, perform data analysis, and generate comprehensive reports in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure proper sample collection, handling, and transportation.
6. Follow laboratory safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques, technologies, and regulatory requirements, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
9. Assist in training and mentoring laboratory staff, including technicians and technologists.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

3. Hands-on experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in a hospital, diagnostic center, or research facility.
4. Strong knowledge and proficiency in clinical laboratory techniques, instruments, and methodologies.
5. Familiarity with laboratory quality control and quality assurance principles, including proficiency testing, calibration, and validation.
6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow protocols and maintain high-quality standards.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and interpret complex data.
8. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and other laboratory staff.
