Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard computer systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats.
2. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security weaknesses.

7. Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities and recommend remedial actions.

9. Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and best practices to foster a culture of security across the organization.
10. Prepare and present reports on security incidents, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or a similar role, with a strong background in network security and information protection.
3. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, best practices, and standards.
4. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
5. Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning tools.
6. Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing environments.
7. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation and analysis.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and assess risks.
9. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with stakeholders and teams across the organization.
10. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
